Beta Chi Chapter | FOUNDED 1868

My name is Garret and I am currently a Junior at the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities. I am majoring in Bachelor of Science in Architecture and my goal after college is Graduate School and then I want to work for POPULOUS Architecture firm in Kansas City or any other company that deals with large commercial buildings. I am currently the President of the Alpha Rho Chi Professional Fraternity on campus. This is a professional fraternity for the allied art. I am currently involved in AIAS, I have managed the Varsity Gopher Track team, I am involved with MPIRG, and the Ski and Snowboard Club, Freedom by Design, and volunteer at the Animal Shelter. I decided to join PIKE when I saw that they had many aspiring architects living in the house, they had a good average GPA, and are a better bunch of guys than I met during Rush week. We pride ourselves with being stand-up gentlemen, and being the best we can be. I was recruited by Tim Bruhn and Seth Thompson, both of who have been great influences in my life. I have met many lifelong friends and can't wait to meet many more. Things I like to do: well, if you know me, I am REALLY into working out, both weights and some sprints and cardio which I do with the track team. I love playing xbox, especially halo and COD, listening to any kind of music, hanging out with friends and family, and I love to snowboard. Snowboarding is my life when it starts snowing out. Love it! I am a big bucketlist checker, and currently live to check off events in my life!
